Last year we had quite a few people offer to help pay for the show. We refused all the
offers as we both thought accepting money felt strange. After thinking about it we
decided that if people wanted to show appreciation by offering donations we would
forward their generous gifts to a charity that directs its efforts toward children, since
one of the biggest reasons we do the show is for kids.
We've decided to collect donations for the Greater Bay Area Make-A-Wish Foundation.
There are some pretty awesome people that come together to make some very good
things happen over there, and we're happy we can be a part of it.
There will be a donation box in front of the houses during the show hours. If you'd like
to write a check please make it out to "Greater Bay Area Make-A-Wish Foundation".
